Welcome to Frodsham u3a

Frodsham u3a welcomes members from Frodsham and the surrounding area. Our primary purpose is to promote lifelong learning for older people and those who are no longer engaged in full time employment or raising a family. It's a great place to share your interests, knowledge and experience with others. We learn together, make friends and have fun.
We hold General Meetings once a month and we also have a range of Interest Groups that people can participate in. You can attend as many as you like, provided there are spaces available.
General Meetings, usually with a guest speaker, are held at 1.45pm for 2.00pm on the third Thursday of each month in the Main Hall of Frodsham Community Centre, Fluin Lane, WA6 7QN, There is a charge of £1.00 for members to attend and £1.50 for visitors which includes refreshments.
Just come along as a visitor to one of our General Meetings where you will be very welcome.
However, if you'd just prefer to join one or more Interest Groups you are most welcome to try a taster visit to one of their meetings, but it is important to contact the Group leader by email via the link on the relevant individual Group page before your first visit to make sure that you will be expected and that there will be room for you.
You may attend a General Meeting or Interest Group twice as a visitor to see what goes on and to meet some of our members, before you make a decision to join.
If you would like to learn more about the North West Region u3a and the wider National u3a try these links to the North West Region website and the National website. You can also read a new report, 'Learn to Live' , which illustrates the u3a non-formal learning model and the benefits for promoting and maintaining happy, healthy lives or view the latest in the "Share Something Brilliant Today" series of films on the U3A YouTube channel.
We look forward to seeing you there soon.
